66-year-old woman dies from COVID

Another life has been lost to COVID-19.

A 66-year-old Barbadian woman died in the early hours of Friday, September 10, while in primary isolation at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility.

She had an underlying condition and spent 14 days in primary isolation before passing away. She was unvaccinated.

Her death brings to 52, the number of people who died from the virus.

The Minister of Health and Wellness, Jeffrey Bostic, expresses sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. (BGIS)
