COVID deaths now at 56

Three more Barbadians died from COVID-19.

Two males, a 51-year-old, who had a co-morbidity, and a 93-year-old, who was in secondary isolation at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility for four days, both died on Thursday.

Their vaccination status is unknown.

A 97-year-old woman passed away on Wednesday after spending four days in isolation.  She was unvaccinated.

The number of lives lost to the virus is 56.

The Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant-Colonel Jeffrey Bostic extends condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. (BGIS)
