Murder accused remanded

The two men accused of murdering 20-year-old Shae Hackett earlier this month were remanded to HMP Dodds when they appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Adrian Ryan Jones, 43, of Enterprise Gardens, Christ Church, who appeared with his right arm in a sling and his left hand heavily bandaged, and Jamal Omar Maynard, 31, of St Paul’s Avenue, Bayville, St Michael, were not required to plead to the indictable charge of murdering Hackett on September 6.

They were both represented by attorney Latisha Springer and Queen’s Counsel Andrew Pilgrim.

Acting Magistrate Kim Butcher remanded them until October 21 when they will appear in Court No. 2 of the District “A” Magistrates’ Court. (HLE)
