Medical health professionals in Barbados will form part of the country’s home isolation programme.
First vice-president of the Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners (BAMP), Dr Adanna Grandison yesterday assured the public that it was important to make sure those approved for tPreview (opens in a new window)he programmes stay within the confines of their homes and not place other citizens at risk.
She said members of the association would form part of that due-diligence required.
The programmes are being introduced to help take some of the pressure off the country’s health care system, which has been placed under immense pressure due to the prevalence of the Delta variant in Barbados within the past two months. (BA)
