South Africa win the toss, fielding vs West Indies in T20 World Cup

Dubai – West Indies will be batting after South Africa won the toss and chose to field in their ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup match on Tuesday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates.

Both teams have made one change: West Indies have brought in leg-spinner Hayden Walsh Jr to replace left-arm pacer Obed McCoy, and Quinton de Kock made himself unavailable for South Africa for personal reasons and has been replaced by Reeza Hendricks.

Both teams are trying to rebound from defeat in their first match: England beat West Indies by six wickets and Australia beat South Africa by five wickets.

West Indies: Kieron Pollard (captain), Evin Lewis, Lendl Simmons, Chris Gayle, Shimron Hetmyer, Nicholas Pooran (wicketkeeper), Andre Russell, Dwayne Bravo, Akeal Hosein, Hayden Walsh Jr, Ravi Rampaul.

South Africa: Temba Bavuma (captain), Reeza Hendricks, Rassie van der Dussen, Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klaasen (wicketkeeper), David Miller, Dwaine Pretorius, Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Tabraiz Shamsi.

Umpires: Aleem Dar (Pakistan), Paul Reiffel (Australia)

TV umpire: Chris Brown (New Zealand).

Match referee: David Boon (Australia).
