Mottley off to COP26 in Glasgow

Prime Minister Mia Mottley left Barbados earlier tonight to attend COP26, the United Nation Climate Change Conference, in Glasgow, Scotland.

Her first engagement will be on Monday, participating in the Opening Ceremony of the World Leaders’ Summit which starts at 8 a.m. Barbados time, noon in Glasgow.

It will be available via COP26UK YouTube channel.

She will participate in Action and Solidarity – the Critical Decade, hosted by the UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, two and a half hours later.

The Prime Minister will then attend a World Leaders’ Reception hosted by Johnson at 2 p.m. Barbados time.

The itinerary for Tuesday is still being finalised.
