Karachi – Media reports indicate that two West Indies Men’s players have tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) on the Tour of Pakistan.

This follows their arrival on Thursday for a six-match series against the hosts comprising three Twenty20 Internationals on December 13, 14, and 16, and three One-day Internationals on December 18, 20, and 22 – all to be played at the National Stadium in this city.

As a result, the squad’s first training session on Friday was cancelled, with the affected players isolated in the same hotel.

Media reports did not reveal the identity of the players.
