Top seed Gabrielle Leslie won her third consecutive Barbados Tennis Association (BTA) Top 8 women’s title with a straight set victory over Hannah Chambers tonight at the National Tennis Centre, Wildey, St Michael.

The overseas-based Leslie defended her crown in incredible fashion, defeating rival Chambers 6-2, 6-3 in a repeat of last year’s final.

At the moment, Barbados’ top tennis player Darian King is on his way to a first Top 8 title after beating Matthew Foster-Estwick 6-1 in the first set. (AGB)
