The death of 26-year-old Zekie Williams has left a deep hole in the hearts of his mother Dana Williams and elder brother Zeico Williams.

He was travelling on the back tray of a 4×4 around 4 p.m. last Saturday on Rices Main Road, at its junction with Cave Land Road, St Philip, when it was involved in a collision with a truck.

Zekie was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Yesterday, both his mother and brother were still overcome with emotion as they spoke at their Monroe Road, Dash Valley, St George home.

Dana broke down in tears before she could utter a single word so Zeico, 28, asked if he could speak on her behalf. (SB)
