Youth planned to start new life

Trey Akeem Kemar Murray lived a short, troubled life but was preparing to make a fresh start overseas.

However, the 29-year-old never got the opportunity, as he was killed on Tuesday, closing the book on his life before the start of what was to be a new chapter.

In Ferniehurst, Black Rock, St Michael his grief-stricken mother, Trudy Murray, said her son was a loving person who had his flaws just like everyone else.

“He was a girls’ man, though he didn’t have any children. He had been in jail two years ago and still had some court cases coming up but he wanted to go to Canada to work. (CA)
