Missing man found hanging from tree

The body of a man who was found hanging from a tree on Sunday, has been identified as Rahim Camacho.

Camacho, 24, of Mount Standfast, St James was the subject of a missing person’s bulletin on June 18. He was last seen on June 15.

Police said that personnel at the Oistins Police Station received a report yesterday around 7:20 a.m. from an anonymous caller who stated that there was a body hanging from a tree in the area of Landsdown, Enterprise, Christ Church.

The police responded and on arrival at 7:50 a.m. they were directed to a wooded area near the sea where the body of a male was found hanging from a tree. He was dressed in a black long jeans, black long sleeve shirt and wearing black slippers and was in a state of decomposition. A medical doctor pronounced death at the scene.
