A burglar who said he was appearing before the court “with my honesty” was jailed for three-and-a-half years in the District “A” Traffic Court yesterday.

Michael Alexander Wilkinson, 49, of no fixed place of abode, admitted he entered Valentine Hoyte’s home, on July 7, and stole two jewellery boxes, five chains and two rings belonging to him; that he entered Richard Parris’ home on July 1 and stole $9 680 worth items belonging to him and Corrine Parris; that he entered Sherwaine Sheldon Forde’s home between June 18 and 19 and stole $300, GUY$140 equivalent to BDS$1.35 and US$2; and that he entered Venice Goodman’s home on July 4 and stole $500, three tablets, two streaming sticks and other items.

He, however, did not plead to the District “C” charge of entering Ian Blackman’s home, on June 27, and stealing a laptop, $400, two colognes and a watch belonging to him, in addition to a passport belonging to the republic of Barbados. (HLE)
