The Queen’s College Association (QCA) will be celebrating and giving back this year in a major way.

President of the Association Carl Applewhaite made that promise on Sunday at the St Jude’s Anglican Church in St George, where they began the QCA week of activities.

“The association is one where persons stand to gain nothing but stand to give back to students and the institution from which we have gained so much,” Applewhaite said.

This week, they will participate in several activities including a Joint Assembly and tree planting ceremony at the Husbands St James school on Monday.

The following day, they plan to visit elderly QC alumni who are living in nursing homes and on Friday, will celebrate ‘I Love QC Day’ with a social at Limegrove Lifestyle Centre.

The week of events will end with a Games night and Karaoke at Nala Aria Event Venue in Worthing. (TG)
