A man who witnessed a shooting while standing at a bus stop eight years ago told the court there was a struggle between Mark Walton and Romario Antonio Clarke on August 4, Kadooment Day of 2014.

He was giving testimony for a second day in the murder trial of Clarke and Rashayne Aniel Blenman in the No. 3 Supreme Court yesterday, under cross-examination by defence lawyers Andrew Pilgim KC and Angela Mitchell-Gittens.

Walton died near his home in Fitts Village that Kadooment Day, shot twice about the body.

Mitchell-Gittens, Clarke’s lawyer, asked the witness to clarify if a tussle ensued between her client and the deceased man. (BA)
