Former Minister of Health The Most Honourable Jeffrey Bostic is now working with the Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO).

Bostic, who spearheaded Barbados’ COVID-19 fight under the mantra “No Retreat, No Surrender”, is the “coordinating consultant for civil and military cooperation within the Caribbean region”.

He retired from elective politics in January and said he was enjoying his current assignment, and felt reinvigorated after taking a “badly-needed rest” in the early months following his retirement.

Bostic was speaking at Kensington Oval on Wednesday where he attended celebrations in honour of Barbados’ 56th Independence anniversary and first anniversary as a republic. (Nation News)
