COVID-19 outbreak at Geriatric Hospital

Visits have been restricted on some wards at the Geriatric Hospital, at Beckles Road, St Michael, due to a COVID-19 outbreak.

This restriction includes wards 8A, 9A and 10A as well as wards 6B, 7B, 8B, 9B and 10B.

Management and staff of the Geriatric Hospital would like to assure the public that they are committed to keeping the situation under control and advise that an updated notice will be disseminated as to the progress of the situation and relaxation of the restriction.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness apologises for any inconvenience caused and encourages the public to continue to practise good hygiene to protect themselves and their loved ones from any possible infection.
