Tyrease Holder exhibited a dominant display of road tennis in the 16 to 21 age division when the Harris Paints Electing A Champion Tournament served off on Saturday and Sunday at the Elite Tennis Academy, Flow car park in Windsor Lodge.

The former Lester Vaughan School student Holder used all of his tennis skills and reach as a six-footer to destroy Bryan McCallister 21-2, 21-4 on Saturday.

Holder returned on Sunday in the similar vicious mood to blow away Shane Blackman 21-1, 21-5.

Another title contender, Deontae Chapman, also began his campaign with convincing victories. He crushed Romario Barker 21-2, 21-2 on Saturday and stopped Zedaniel King at 16 and 11 the following day.  (KB)
