A witness yesterday said he could not recall giving police a statement in the wake of a shooting incident in Wotton, Christ Church, more than six years ago.

Renaldo Sealy, who was testifying in the violent disorder trial against Shane Anthony Burke, formerly known as Shane Anthony Greene, and Akem Marvon Waithe in the No. 5 Supreme Court, said he knew alias “Frost” and “Rico” as they “lived up my side”.

He said he also knew alias “Ellis”, whom he identified as accused Waithe in the dock, from attending an uncle’s funeral. He said the funeral home was owned by Ellis’ father.

He added he knew Greene as they attended the same secondary school. (HLE)
