Taxi parking spaces on Fairchild Street

Two new parking spaces for taxi operators will be allocated on the southern side of Fairchild Street, between Nelson Street and Jessamine Alley, near Jordan’s Supermarket.

There will be a 30-minute maximum parking limit, Monday through Friday, for any taxi using these new parking spaces before having to move on.

Road markings and signage will be installed at the location so both taxi operators and other drivers are aware of the designated short-term taxi parking space.

The Ministry of Transport Works and Water Resources urges taxi operators to comply with the new parking initiative being afforded to them for their convenience. (PR/SAT)
