The Barbados team for the 50th anniversary of the CARIFTA Games left the island yesterday en route to The Bahamas.

The unit has been reduced to 24 as quarter-miler Josiah Parris of The St Michael School picked up an injury last week at the Powerade-Dasani Barbados Secondary School Athletic Championships and did not make the trip.

Competition will be held at the Thomas A Robinson National Stadium from Saturday through Monday. (Nation Sports)
