A chance find on a beach landed a St Philip man in the No. 2 Supreme Court yesterday.

Nathan Tyrell Ricardo Greenidge, of Berry Hill, Merricks, St Philip, pleaded guilty to having a firearm and ammunition in his possession on December 29, 2021.

He was represented by attorney Zudie Payne and Senior Counsel Michael Lashley, while State Counsel Anastacia McMeo appeared for the State.

A pre-sentencing report has already been ordered and Justice Elwood Watts adjourned the matter until April 26.

State Counsel McMeo told the court that police executed a search warrant at Greenidge’s house and found the illegal weapon, which was wrapped in a camouflage cloth, on top a grill in the kitchen. (HLE)
