Under-19 trio in Iris Walker team

West Indies’ Under-19 trio Trishan Holder, Naijanni Cumberbatch and CARIFTA Games’ javelin thrower Asabi Callender have been named in the Iris Walker Pioneers women’s squad for the first two matches of the Barbados Cricket Association’s (BCA) T20 Plate Competition against men’s teams this weekend.

The BCA Iris Walker Pioneers which will be captained by experienced Barbados and West Indies seamer Shakera Selman will host Melbourne in tomorrow’s opening series at the Rubis playing field in Brighton before facing home team Wotton in the second series on Sunday.

The matches will start at 2 p.m.
