The owner of the Bromswood Nursing Home yesterday recalled how her employee Denise Clarke relieved her from duty at the 7 o’clock shift on the night of July 24, 2013.

When she returned the next morning, said Maraline Sobers, there were lawmen at the home and she saw the body of Clarke inside.

Sobers was testifying in the murder trial of David Anthony Ricardo Jones, formerly of Platinum Heights, Thornbury Hill, Christ Church, and Hope Land, St Thomas, in the No 4 Supreme Court.

The witness said Clarke had been employed with her as an auxiliary nurse for two years. (HLE)
