After living for 76 years as a free man, a Flat Rock, St George man started a two-year prison sentence last Friday.

A jury found Wesley Eugene Inniss guilty on March 29 of two counts of indecent assault, which occurred between April and September, 2015.

The complainant was preparing for the 11-Plus examination at the time and when she began having panic attacks, her mother became concerned. Thinking it was because of the upcoming examination, she took her to the paediatrician.

The complainant later told her mother and stepfather that Inniss had touched her inappropriately. (SD)
