Cyclist succumbs to injuries at QEH

A bicyclist was pronounced dead on arrival at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) after being involved in an accident earlier along Greenidges Road, St Lucy

He has been identified as Peterson Griffith, 57 years, of Northumberland, in the same parish.

Police say around 6:05 p.m. Saturday, Griffith was riding along Greenidges when he became involved in a collision with a car.

He was transported from the scene by ambulance but later pronounced dead on arrival at the QEH.

Investigations are continuing. (PR/SAT)
