The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) will continue repairs on the large diameter main on Pine North-South Road, St Michael, around 9:30 a.m. Friday.

That section of road will be closed on Friday to allow the crews to conduct the repairs safely.

As a result, customers in Pine Gardens, Bayville, Bay Street, Blue Waters, Carters Gap, Chelsea Road, Dayrells Road, Deighton, Dover, Enterprise, Fairholme Gardens, Golf Club, Harts Gap, Hastings, Hythe Gardens, Keizer Hill, Kings Village, Marine Gardens, Maxwell, Navy Gardens, Oistins, Scarborough, Paradise Village, Rockley, St. Lawrence, St Matthias, Top Rock, Welches, Worthing, Highway 7 and the surrounding areas may be affected by a water outage or low pressure.

Customers in the listed areas are advised to store some water to assist and water tankers will also be deployed.

The Barbados Water Authority apologises for any inconvenience the completion of repairs in the Pine may cause.    (PR/SAT)
