A crew from the Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources (MTWW) will regrade the shoulders of Ronald Mapp Highway (2A) from the Black Bess junction to Warleigh Road in St Peter.

The shoulders are being regraded to level the edges of the road and the crew will also be debushing and trimming trees along that section of the highway.

Work will be done from Tuesday, July 11, to Friday, July 14, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily.

While the highway will not be closed, motorists are asked to slow down and be cautious when traversing through the area. Signage and cones will be placed along the highway and MTWW personnel will direct traffic.

Road users are also asked to note that a team from MTWW will also be cleaning the section of Highway 1 from the Speightstown, St Peter to the St James Cemetery, Holetown, St James in preparation for the State Funeral of the late Prime Minister, The Right Honourable Sir Lloyd Erskine Sandiford.

MTWW apologises for any inconvenience and thanks the public for its patience. (PR/MTWW)
