Esan Tito Jones bought his girlfriend a plaid designer dress and now has to pay for it a second time after he cut holes in it on Sunday.

The unemployed man, of Block 7B Haynesville, St James, admitted that he intentionally damaged a dress belonging to Dencia Rock on Sunday. Jones, who is 30 and does odd jobs, was before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court No.1 yesterday.

Sergeant Verdon Forde said the complainant and the accused were involved in a relationship for three years and have a daughter but on this day there were arguing. On Sunday, Rock was walking along Barbarees Hill with the dress in a plastic bag when Jones snatched the bag.

She reported the incident at the Black Rock Police Station. (SD)
