BWA pumping station offline

One of the Barbados Water Authority’s pumping stations in the east is currently offline due to an irregular electrical supply.

The Barbados Light and Power is currently investigating the matter.

As a result of this, customers in Cleaver’s Hill, Gaggs Hill, Foster Hall, Joe’s River, St Elizabeth Village, St Elizabeth New Road and surrounding districts may experience low pressure or outages.

Water tankers have been dispatched to assist the residents in these areas.

The BWA apologises for the inconvenience this service disruption may cause.    (PR)
