Twenty-eight days after he was remanded for stealing so he could pay child support, Tristan Patrick Albert Joseph found himself facing another financial expenditure.

This time it is compensation which was imposed after he reappeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Joseph, of Marine Road, Bush Hall, St Michael, had pleaded guilty, last month, to stealing two water tanks, valued at $2 400, belonging to Christopher Cadogan, between July 21 and 22.

“I really do apologise for my behaviour towards the act I committed,” Joseph had told the court. I was under a lot of pressure. I had some child support building up on me and the injury I have prevents me from doing certain work.”  (HLE)
