Police are on the scene of a three-vehicle accident at the Brighton, St Michael, junction of the Mighty Grynner Highway.
An eyewitness, who was in the northbound lane, told Nation Online one of the vehicles attempted to cross the highway from Brighton to Spring Garden, resulting in a collision.
The extent of injuries is not clear at this time.
However, the eyewitness said a pregnant woman who was on the scene left, complaining of pains to her abdominal area.
Motorists should seek alternative routes or expect delay, as two cars are in the middle of the carriageway.
