Christ Church woman remanded to Dodds

A Christ Church woman was remanded to Dodds Prison last Friday when she appeared in court on eight charges in connection with drugs, a firearm and ammunition.

She is Sabrina Le Keisha Atherley, 38 years, of Vauxhall Gardens,  who was arrested by personnel from the Anti-Gun and Gangs Unit of The Barbados Police Service that same day.

She was charged with one count each possession of a firearm, ammunition, cannabis and cocaine.

There were also separate charges of trafficking in cannabis and cocaine as well as intent to supply both.

Atherley appeared before Magistrate Deidre McKenna of the Oistins Magistrate’s Court on Thursday. She was remanded to Dodds Prison and schedule to re-appear on November 9. (PR/SAT)
