“Finish cooking, I will be back soon.”

Those, said Sharon Boyce, were the last words Jason Husbands said to her before he left to service a stove in St Lucy.

Moments later, Boyce said she received a Blackberry Broadcast (BB) message from Husbands’ phone saying he had been shot and felt like he was dying.

The woman was testifying in the trial of Kason Kemar Edwards, of Gays, St Peter, who is accused of murdering Husbands on August 21, 2012.

The witness described Husbands as a “good man”, a family man, who did not drink alcohol or smoke. (HLE)
