A small crowd of Guyanese have gathered in front the Venezuela Embassy in Barbados to protest Venezuela’s recent actions to claim the territory of Essequibo from Guyana.

They say it is to raise awareness on the issue in light of the decision by the International Court of Justice which advised Venezuela not to take any action on the territory.

Over the weekend, thousands of people in Guyanese lined the street, calling for a peaceful solution. (Nation News)
