The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MHW) has received a limited supply of Pfizer BioNTech Booster Vaccines for COVID-19 from the Government and people of Panama.

The public is advised that the booster vaccines will only be administered at the Winston Scott and the Branford Taitt Polyclinics from Monday, December 18, to Friday, December 22, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The Ministry is encouraging the public, particularly the elderly and those with underlying illnesses, to take advantage of the COVID-19 booster vaccine at this time, even though the COVID-19 pandemic has declined, with little transmission or hospitalisation on the island. (PR)
