A male nurse from the Psychiatric Hospital faced the wrath of the No. 5 Supreme Court as he tried to explain to Justice Pamela Beckles why he let Jamal Amal Skeete walk away from the court.

A warrant is now out for Skeete’s arrest.

Skeete had been remanded to the Black Rock, St Michael, facility last week for drug testing after he turned up late for court and subsequently admitted he was again smoking cocaine. He was due back for sentencing on Thursday.

However, when the matters were called, Skeete was missing and male nurse Sylvan Spooner was put on the witness stand to explain his absence.
