No COVID deaths in newest dashboard

There were no COVID-19 deaths between November 25 and December 22, 2023.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness on Tuesday published the latest dashboard on the viral illness, which showed only 21 positive cases from 333 tests.

Of that number, 14 were female and only one was under age 18.

To that point, Barbados had recorded 110 298 cases (49 706 men and 60 592 women) from 812 248 tests. There have been 648 deaths.

Vaccine uptake remains low with 155 045 or 57.2 per cent considered fully vaccinated. (PR/SAT)
