All eyes on Dominus today

Champion Owner and Breeder Sir David Seale holds all the keys to the opening day feature race – the President’s Trophy Handicap for  top–class horses rated 140-120 and below over 1 100 metres today at the historic Garrison Savannah.

Sir David’s speed machine Dominus is the hot favourite to capture race seven despite packing the heavy burden around 5:30 p.m. of 133 pounds.

The Andrew “Busha” Nunes-trained seven-year-old will once again be partnered by jockey Rey Williams as this pair seek to make amends for their last defeat at the hands of the stewards.

Having passed the post first they were adjudicated to have committed an infringement in the race affecting the eventual winner Bodie Tap who benefited from the upgrade. (LY)
