Staff off the job at St Giles Primary

There are reports that the majority of the staff at St Giles Primary School called in sick today.

Some parents returned to collect their children from the Ivy, St Michael institution this morning.

Communications Specialist, Ministry of Education, Gaynelle Marshall confirmed that only the principal and several teachers reported to work today. Marshall said the principal has given the Ministry the assurance that despite the staff shortage, measures were implemented to ensure students were supervised. (AH)
