The sweet sounds of a tuk band signalled the arrival of Opposition Leader Ralph Thorne at the Democratic Labour Party headquarters in George Street Headquarters this morning.

Thorne, dressed in a white shirt, yellow tie and slacks, arrived at 11:10 a.m. to submit his application for membership to rejoin the party.

Our team at the scene is reporting that shortly after Thorne arrived, he was met by a small crowd of supporters at the location. He then made his way to the office where he was expected to hand in his application.

Members of the DLP’s executive and stalwarts were also present.

More details as they come to hand. (Nation News)
