SAGICOR’S EARNINGS have shot past the $1 billion mark on the back of its recent acquisition of Canadian insurer ivari.

In fact, the financial services provider, which was established here in 1840 as The Barbados Mutual Life Assurance Society, recorded that amount of net profit in the fourth quarter ended December 31, alone.

Sagicor Financial Company Limited president and chief executive officer, Andre Mousseau, reports that “2023 was a monumental year for Sagicor.”
