UWI scholarship honouring Brancker

AN UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, will have the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the late prominent Barbadian entrepreneur Rawle Brancker.

The family of the former black businessman, who passed away in 2021 at the age of 83, has established the Rawle C. Brancker Entrepreneurial Scholarship in his honour and memory.

It will provide financial assistance to an undergraduate student who is pursuing a degree in entrepreneurial studies. Qualifying former students of the Combermere School, Brancker’s beloved alma mater will have first preference of the scholarship. (SC/PR)
