Shavvy Dublin was already having a difficult Monday because it was the anniversary of her daughter’s sudden death.

Unfortunately, that day took a turn for the worse when she found out her fiancé Andell McGarell died after he fell from scaffolding about 30 to 40 high as he worked on a building at Lot C4 Apes Hill, St James.

Despite the tragic circumstances, she is taking comfort that their final words that day were affectionate.

“I called him the Monday morning but I didn’t get him at first, but he called me back and said ‘Babe, I know today is not your day, but I want you to be strong. I know you are strong’,” Dublin recalled.
