The Barbados Lottery Mega 6 jackpot latest winning is not without a multimillion-dollar controversy.

The winner is a native of London, England, Jack Germaine, who spent an incredible $2 100 in tickets but came away with winnings worth way more than that as he won $3 910 000.

The official presentation was made yesterday at the lottery headquarters, IGT Global Services Limited, Wildey Commercial Centre, St Michael.

The lucky visitor said he was “absolutely ecstatic”.

Before buying the ticket, he said he had been buying his usual morning coffee at the nearby Starbucks.

“I buy lottery tickets from all over the world, every time I go on holiday I always have a go at the local lottery and it hasn’t ever worked out for me before but Barbados is my lucky charm I guess. I couldn’t have asked for a better holiday; I’ve been to Barbados twice before but this is an absolutely crazy event and I’m sure I’ll be back – I am happy to be here, everyone is so lovely,” he said.
