Several roads in the vicinity of the Central Bank of Barbados in the city will now be paved at night on Thursday, May 23, and Friday, May 24 between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

The Paving Unit of the Ministry of Transport and Works will resurface Church Street Major, Church Street Minor, and Pollygreen Alley, pending weather or any unforeseen circumstances. During paving, these roads will be closed to vehicular traffic.

The Paving Unit will also resurface the parking lot of the Central Bank on Spry Street. While the road will remain open, businesses and road users are advised that heavy machinery and trucks will utilize this road, so delays should be expected.

Road users are advised to proceed with extreme caution or use alternate routes during these times. MTW thanks businesses and road users for their patience and cooperation. (PR/MTW)
