Businesses bracing for Beryl

Business operators are taking more precautions to secure their properties ahead of Hurricane Beryl, which, on its trajectory up to late yesterday, was expected to affect Barbados late tonight.

Householders were also doing what they could to protect their families and safeguard their belongings.

That was evident yesterday on the South Coast and in Bridgetown where some people were seen covering glass windows with boards. (TG)
