Police probing a suspected drowning at Rockley Golf Course

Police are investigating a suspected drowning of a Costa Rican visitor who was staying at Bushy Park, Rockley Golf Course and Country Club, Rockley, Christ Church.

Lawmen said they discovered the unresponsive body at about 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday in a pool at the said golf course and country club.

The deceased arrived on the island last Friday with a number of friends and was scheduled to depart the island on July 20th.

This morning, the club’s pool technician discovered the body floating in the pool and reported the matter to management who then informed the police. A friend with whom the deceased was travelling, identified the body.
