An area of disturbed weather is expected to pass to the north of the island on Wednesday, July 31 and no direct impacts are expected.

The Barbados Meteorological Services is continuing to monitor the progress of the system, located 483 miles to the east of Barbados at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Environmental conditions remain unfavourable for significant development in the coming days. Indirect weather impacts include a reduction of wind speeds from Tuesday through Thursday. As a result, Barbadians can anticipate warmer days along with some isolated afternoon showers during this period.

The next update will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, July 31. (PR/KNB)
