The National Cultural Foundation (NCF) has confirmed that the highly anticipated Grand Kadooment festival will take place as planned on Monday, August 5th.

This announcement comes in response to a false notice circulating that suggested a postponement.

The NCF emphasizes that the postponement notice is “FAKE NEWS” and urges the public to rely on trustworthy sources for information.

Official updates can be obtained from the Barbados Meteorological Services, the Department of Emergency Management, reputable news outlets, and the NCF’s official pages.

Festival organizers remind everyone to stay safe and enjoy the celebrations. (NCF)
