Brittons Hill’s striker Rommell Bynoe turned the Ellerton Playing Field into his abattoir, scoring a glut to help his team destroy Maxwell Club 11-1 in Zone E of the Prime Minister’s Cup semi-professional tournament
on Sunday.

It was not a shocking performance from the Premier League side, Brittons Hill, against a decidedly outmatched Division Three Maxwell, who were out of their depth in the nightcap game of the double header.

In the first encounter, the home-based Ellerton team survived with a hard-fought 2-1 win against Greens United in the all St George affair. This game had a bit more competitive substance, unlike the prepotency of the last match.

The leading goalscorer of the Prime Minister’s Cup so far, and also Player of the Match against Maxwell, Bynoe, wearing the number 10 on the back of his shirt, found the net for Brittons Hill in the 10th, 25th, 39th, 77th, and 85th minutes. (ML)
